@mackuba it added an optional OpenAI based feature where you ask it to generate your command. Like “generate an ffmpeg command to convert a file …” and then it would put that command into your terminal for you.
@birnim@gnuplusmatt that's an interesting way of saying it, I just don't like the word but I understand, still might not fit with the CoC so I suggest being careful
@joel@gnuplusmatt formally, the whole issue is FOSS offtopic, which causes additional incentives for shifting from our specific IT geek slang, which doesn't contain that much obscenity and is generally family friendly. I would not abuse that word in context of sensitive tech topics like #systemd or #poettering (but that's just because for those situations I have different ones 😂 )
I saw a post talking about whether or not to defederate with Beehaw, and then I saw a comment talking about a decision that Beehaw made and something about them being liberal, but I'm ootl. Could someone explain the situation?
