Just created this magazine to save the name. The intention is to have a backup in case Reddit becomes inhabitable and we need to move r/Turkey here (unfortunately m/turkey is already taken and misused). I hope we'll have a thriving community with more moderators helping out in good time.
Aslı Aydıntaşbaş is a visiting fellow in the Center on the United States and Europe at the Brookings Institution, is a Global Opinions columnist at The Washington Post, and a senior policy fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR). She focuses on Turkey’s relations with the European Union, with Russia, and its re-positioning in the Middle East and North Africa region. She is a regular commentator on Turkey for international media. She is a graduate of Bates College, and earned her masters in journalism and Middle East studies at New York University. @turkey
