- After Russian intervention, the Saudi government releases a ship loaded with weapons from Russia to the Sudanese army that it had detained for several months after it stopped in the port of Jeddah.

The purpose of the detention was to deprive the Sudanese army of weapons in its war with Hemedti’s militia, which indicates that Saudi Arabia agrees with the UAE in supporting Hemedti despite their differences. (Mujtahidd) @sudan

@godsouza Saudi Arabia began work on nuclear power plants long ago; has a close alliance with the US, but also Pakistan for defense & buys weapons from various nations. It doesn’t need a new deal with the US contingent on recognizing ISR nor policing Gaza. Blinken & State Dept know this & yet certain media keep pushing the story

Musk may be, but there’s no alternative to platforms like Twitter, Youtube, Tik Tok for linking to actual in-country video. (We used to also post nitter.net but it’s no more) Here you wait for articles published from various liberal-oligarchic-fascist perspectives. This allows a 12 year old Gazan girl to speak for herself.

Going through my social media, it seems like Gaza doesn't even exist.

It's all about student protests and police brutality in US.

In the mean time, the stories of Maas Graves, mass execution of healthcare staff and mutilated bodies of palestinians in Khan Yunis have all but disappeared from the news.

No news about starvation.
No news about murder of aid workers by IDF.
No news of bombing tent cities with fire bombs.
No news of Netanyahu ignoring the peace proposal.
No news that Biden keep sending weapons and money to Netanyahu.

I guess it's good that we see the student protests are spreading, but it should not be forgetting WHY they are protesting and what over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza are forced to live every day.

Frustrated with DuckDuckGo. I need solid news searches.

When I read about something newsworthy, I like to read several articles on it. i.e. Saudi Arabia is arresting people for anti-Israel social media posts.

Plenty of articles, except every single one of them when read references a Bloomberg report. But that report isn't in the search results, and of the derivative articles I've read, none of them link back to the source.

@exador23 Why aren’t the sources named? Why does the article state the author cannot verify the # of arrests for this supposed offense since 10/7. Did he not ask the Ministry? That’s Journalism 101 - prove the lede (that arrests actually increased) Bloomberg & NYT have every so often come out with untrustworthy pieces on KSA, sometimes bringing in a non-Gulf expert (& feeding him/her a story through plants, fixers, other journos)
