I’m still unconvinced by him tbh. He has clearly improved a lot but I’m not sure he’s good enough for Red Bull. If he keeps improving then he might get a chance at some point though.
If I had to guess I’d say:
2024: Verstappen and Perez 2025: Verstappen and Tsunoda/Ricciardo/Lawson 2026: Verstappen and Norris (long term)
Why would Norris go from being team leader to Marko’s punching bag? Marko made sure the car and team focused all energy on Vettel at the expense of Webber and the same to Verstappen vs his teammates. Even when Ricciardo was faster he wasn’t given a fair shake. Better off staying at McLaren. I mean unless Marko retires, which…fingers crossed
Well wasn’t the first design change where you had to report where the inspiration came from Adrian Newey copying Williams square defuser to the Redbull. Clearly he does not have tunnel vision. Also someone of his stature could actually have free reign and make his mark he might have always dreamed of
Dorilton Capital(Private Equity Firm) has given Vowels their blessings to approach Newey. If Newey wants equity or ownership stake they are most likely to give him those things, they have deep pockets.
It kind of makes sense, going to another big team he would have to slot in to their existing structure. But at a team like Williams, who are still rebuilding everything, there’s probably much more freedom for Newey and also more of a challenge.
Yea, I didn’t expect that Mercedes would sign Antonelli straight away with Sainz being at merc for a year, but now its more and more likely to be kimi… Still, maybe botASS could make a return there until kimi is ready.
Yeah I think Bottas would probably be the best option. We already know it would be only a one, maybe two year contract so getting someone who already knows the team is the easiest route.
With longevity a key factor in Bottas’ contract negotiations, he said he’d be open to having a chat with Mercedes if a longer-team deal was on the table.
“Only if it was a lot more than a one-year contract,” he said, when asked outright if a return to Mercedes was something he’d be interested in.
“If it was a one-year deal, then it wouldn’t make sense for me. But, for long-term, of course there could be a discussion.”
Stroll fucked up, but honestly, looking at how close everyone else got to the gearbox of the car in front of them going into the corner, I don’t think it’s inexcusable.
I don't think anyone on the grid expects much from Stroll, the issue Danny seems to have is how Stroll played the victim despite the fact he very blatantly simply wasn't paying attention.
