Really fascinating one - lets you tribute a synchro or fusion monster to special summon a monster with the same level from deck. Anything funny that can be done with this? Off the top of my head: Ready Fusion plus this gets any Lvl 6 or lower monster out of the deck.
I think this one is worth keeping an eye on. The Lvl 7 is quite powerful - it’s an omni on a body - and is searchable with the continuous spell the Lvl 1 gets. Saffira also can search ANY light Warrior or Dragon ritual on discard, and I bet there’s something good to get with that.
Is anyone else just not vibing with the flavor of the upcoming Centurion archetype? The mechanical stuff it does is really cool - I love that we’re getting another deck that does stuff by treating monsters as continuous spell/traps. But every time I look at the card art my eyes just kind of glaze over. It’s like someone put...
This got announced as a promo a few days back. I was going to wait for the effect reveal before posting about it, but since the Rulers are such famous cards, I think it would be fun to guess what this new Ruler will do....
Continuing the trend of pairing cool mech designs with goofy anime girls, Centurion is like Sky Striker thematics combined with Crystal Beast mechanics. Also a generic 12 star synchro - not too many of those running around.
Extremely funny that two notorious banned cards - Samsara Lotus and Grinder Golem - are getting retrains as Yubel support. I never watched the GX show; were they a part of Yubel’s deck originally?
The new quickplay spell looks particularly good - pop your dudes, get their effects, and destroy your opponent’s cards. Really happy about all the Fire attribute love lately.
A really fascinating and facially powerful card. There are very few decks in the format right now that do not want to be making 2 monsters from the ED. Now if you go second, you have something to go into if your starter gets impermed or you brick. It also turns off the opponent’s zeus or baronne, which is very funny.
This looks crazy - send ANY CARD from hand to reborn a fire monster. Then after you go through your combo, add your stuff back to deck and draw a card. The first effect isn’t even OPT. AGOV continues to ball out so hard
AGOV is looking cooler and cooler. The boss monster for these guys has a unique form of removal - it can turn an opponent’s monster into a continuous spell/trap.
The recent Yu-Gi-Oh release brings forth the invasion of Veda! Introducing a new cycle of Visas cards, this set features Visas Samsara, a versatile Tuner monster that can shuffle banished, field, and graveyard Visas monsters into the deck to gain ATK. Veda Upanishad, a powerful DARK Warrior, can be Special Summoned by its own...
Hard to rate this kind of card, but it does let you send any fiend or beast to grave. Maybe there are some goofy Tri-Brigade builds that could splash some of the Illusion stuff?
A new set of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards has been unveiled, introducing the Horus archetype. These cards include Horus no Eikou – Imsety, Horus no Shukufuku – Duamutef, Horus no Sendou – Hapy, and Horus no Kago – Qebehsenuef. Each of these LV8 monsters can be Special Summoned from the graveyard if you control the "Pharaonic...
