It’s an Ubuntu downstream maintained by Linux box maker System76 which is targeted for both general usability and design/media applications. They will soon be debuting their own home-spun desktop environment, Cosmic DE, which is highly anticipated by the Linux community....
I’m a long time Windows user who has experience with WSL. Last year, I needed a laptop for university, and out of laziness, opted for a Macbook since, although they’re expensive as hell, are reasonably reliable....

I’ve always just used konsole or gnome terminal. Never really looked into what else is available. Tried cool-retro-term the other day, but the novelty wore off pretty fast for me....
My mouse won’t stop constantly scrolling and a replacement is a couple days away. How can I temporarily disable the scroll wheel? All the instructions I can find deal with xorg or xinput which I do not have. I can’t find any scroll wheel setting in either settings or piper....
I tried it once a long time ago. Does anyone here currently use it? What do you like about it? What do you hate?
I did it again; exaggerate a simple idea and make it look more complicated at the end with too much text in the readme. I was bothered with the output of file listings and how unreadable they can get, especially with long paths and many of them on screen. At the end, I am not sure how useful this will be in the long run, but...
Dangerous opinion, I’ve recently moved to Fedora after Ubuntu and after customising it on the GNOME desktop, it’s literally Ubuntu (But better) in every way except no snaps....
