@jfmcgrath I tried one out and it’s the real deal. Good battery life, very nice writing experience, relatively little accidental input (I’m left-handed so this is often an issue in pen-based computing). There is a keyboard accessory (also crazy expensive) and some people have hacked them to put apps on, but I haven’t tried either of those.
I ultimately went with Amazon’s version (Kindle Scribe)—not as versatile for note-taking but a vastly better ebook experience, which was a priority for me.
