*tossing the shirt into the charity pile... though not sure if they'll be used or end up shredded/landfilled somewhere down the line. Apparently white button down shirts expire, as they turn into off white/yellow shirts. 🤢
@CedarTea Thanks. These are all synthetic blend shirts, so no good for rags (won't absorb stuff), but I've just stopped donating t-shirts and use them for wiping up and cleaning things up around the house, applying linseed oil to wood, whatnot... battlejacket diy patch material, LOL. (googles "battlejacket" )
@paninid@CedarTea LOL just looked it up... having grown up in Salt Lake City, I don't think I know anyone who had a punk battlejacket... and now living in suburbia next to boomers who think fondly of bunco clubs, makes sense I don't see them around, ha ha.
@grajohnt Ha, very first time I've ever heard of that! I am apparently laundry-knowledge deficient. (not that I will wear these shirts ever again, likely...)
@ai6yr Every year before going whitewater raft/camping, I buy a couple white button down shirts for sun protection, and don't care what color they turn. I have a couple that are permanently gray.
