As it turns out, my #Ottawa optometrist’s computers were hacked. We received a letter that my birthday and medical information were compromised. Now, I don’t mind that some hacker is salivating over my prescription reading glasses, but a scammer might trick me into some action. So when did that hack occur? A YEAR AGO, and only now they are informing me. No one said anything in December when I dropped in, no one said anything when I picked up my classes in February. Bad PR.
