@GottaLaff my commune here in France is currently deprived of Internet. There's been much discussion about a way forward and many are considering using Starlink. I've been banging my head against the wall trying to explain to people why Musk is bad. They're not listening. They just don't get it, any of it. The tax thing, the right wing thing, the rich boy thing, the pollution thing, the neurolink thing, the Tesla thing. It's all lost in translation coupled with the need for Internet.
@GottaLaff If you take and list every one of the Biden administration's accomplishments they greatly outnumber those of any previous president in the past 50 years. (this despite the GOP blocking every positive measure.)
@BernieDoesIt Ok....I agree Trump made a disaster however I think Biden has accomplished a lot while cleaning up Trumps mess. Also, I wouldn't dismiss the changes considering the GOP fought every step of the way.@GottaLaff
@Snowshadow I agree, Snow. Biden was one of my last choices, but in many ways, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. He’s accomplished a lot, and has very little to work with in Congress. @BernieDoesIt
@GottaLaff I disagree with a couple of his policies, but one important one I am seeing a shift in how he is handling it. That is the difference between the parties. The GOP will not budge on any policy and lately they have shown they will use violence to achieve their goals whereas Democrats will bend under public pressure.@BernieDoesIt

If the only opposition to a fascist is someone who will ultimately bend to one in the face of actually having to take responsibility and use force otherwise, then either way we'll have fascists running things.

@GottaLaff I hope my assessment of the account was right-- I had it on my radar for a few weeks. It has made the same comments before...so I checked it's account just now. Troubling.
@Snowshadow@GottaLaff There's also something 'off' about the grammar. I do a lot of peer review for a variety of academic journals and have gotten to where I can tell after about two sentences whether the writer is an English-as-second-language speaker.
For sh*ts and giggles, I replied to one of their posts that said they didn't know if anything could be done about society's ills.
I replied; "Maybe trying to do things to make it better instead of defending stepping aside to let the worst of the worst gain power?"
The snowflake replied that I shouldn't try to start an argument and then of course blocked me.

Exactly this. He was not my choice in the primary, but he has been relentless in trying to help the country recover from all the damage trompe did, and then go beyond that to make life better.
Think of the election as a job performance review. We're the office manager going over the actual on-the-job performances of these two candidates and have to choose one of them to run the office for the next 4 years.
