Prices on #RegioJet#trains are from different times. Cakes for €0.4, coffee for free, beer for €0.7...
I remember an interview with the founder and CEO where he was asked why they sell food and beverages on trains so cheap. And his answer was: we're in the business of selling tickets, not in the business of catering, we don't intend to make money on it. #traintravel#train
@der_istvan I would like to have those prices everywhere because they're lower than in a supermarket. The downside is that the waiting times are pretty long because basically everyone on the train is ordering something.
The way that CZ conductors genuinely care for the passengers, and how the CZ rail system is set up to minimize inconvenience even if something goes wrong, is really remarkable.
Had trains cancelled in Czechia, had the wrong ticket sold to me in PL on an international train to CZ, and every time the conductor would sort it out in mere minutes with no hassle for me (other than, perhaps, additional change here or there). :purple_sparkling_heart:
@rysiek@sesivany Well, thinking about it, the people you interface with have indeed been mostly nice (or at worst neutral), but the system is riddled with incompetence.
@major I like Railjet as a train more, but the on-board service and prices of RegioJet are unmatched. And now when they have direct trains Vienna Airport-Brno it is a clear choice.
