Jamie Rubin, the special envoy and coordinator for the U.S. State Department's Global Engagement Center (GEC), did not specify which countries he was particularly concerned about, but said that the primary targets would likely be in Europe.
You are living in a dream world if you still expect mainstream media (or any media really) to inform you. We killed that kind of media and jorunalism in general years ago, and what is left now has very little interest in informing you. It's about capturing your attention for some short time period for market share (the few outlet of that kind still existing) or even just for the few seconds needed to get a click.
Seriously... most don't even try anymore. Where you would have criticised people some time ago for only reading the headline you now know that there will be no substance behind most headlines anyway.
