@aardrian I've tried this in current Chrome. There is no flicker. There's a delay before the search marks the results on the page. And if the details got opened, it stays opened.
Where do you see potential confusion for blind users?
maybe a bit of context: in my use case I would like to use this for a collapse menu thing on small screens (eg. mobile) not as a dropdown like in the example
