There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus.
When I was younger, I seriously considered the possibility that I had some sort of genetic abnormality that was unable to sense a god’s presence and quotes like this did not help.
Then at least two people have this defect because I was never able to either. 18 years going to church weekly, sometimes more, and nearly ten years as an altar server.
