I know I’m bad at math, but how does this make any sense at all? The Red Sox have won more games than the Orioles, played more games than the Orioles and yet they’re in second place from the lead. Can someone please explain this in a way that makes any sense?! #Baseball#RedSox
@gedeonm the foley on those ricola “baseball zen” commercials is atrocious. I listen on headphones and have to take them out or mute the stream it’s so bad.
@gedeonm perhaps it deals with exactly who they have won against. I believe these are calibrated against the previous seasons rankings it’s who you have beaten, been matched against. You could have a perfect season so far playing against the weakest teams
@gedeonm Yeah I don't think this is sorted correctly. But otherwise the data is correct -- the Orioles are "0.5 Games Behind" the Red Sox, because they've played one fewer game. They'd have to play and win one game to be tied.
