Tywele, (edited )

DnD with my friends on Saturday.

Edit: one friend is sick so DnD falls flat 😭. I guess more Helldivers 2 it is.

Visiting a friend’s house for a game night. Board games, card games etc.

waz,

Have to take my kid to a birthday party, then I was hoping to sew a shirt and make some cookies.

intensely_human,

I should be driving Uber, but I got a little sick so instead I’m playing Space Engineers on the xbox.

The game is super fun but, after about 20 hours in my game world, I noticed a thing at the bottom of the screen that says I’ve used up 93,000 of my 100,000 PCU. So I’m almost at the limit of what I can build and I’ve barely just begun the game.

Haven’t even gotten to space! The whole game has been me slowly getting to the point where I’ve got a rover hardy enough to trek to some distant mountains so I can gather ice.

Swimming lessons for the kids in the morning, then eye examinations for four of them. Home for lunch, then pressure cleaning the courtyard and laying fresh mulch in preparation for toilet training my 6 week old puppies.

I’ll also clean out the aviary and last fresh sand for the quails if I have time, then probably a family movie, enchiladas for dinner followed by whatever my eight year old bake.

Just another Saturday.

I think a new Marjane opened in my city. Maybe I should check that one out.

Context: Marjane is basically the biggest supermarket chain here in Morocco, it’s been around since the 90s. Yet for some reason, my city (which is located in disputed territory) never got a location until earlier this month. We didn’t even get a McDonald’s until 2017, and to this day, there’s only one, whereas in cities like Agadir there’s like three.

Squirrelsdrivemenuts,

Finally sunny and dry enough to go for a nice long bike ride. Afterwards probably playing Factorio for the rest of the evening/night/morning.

berryjam,

Hit the gym, do chores, try to reduce my library book backlog - I have holds set up to get books I’m interested in on a regular schedule, and I’m behind on my current checked-out pile of books, so I have to decide what to cut out.

Also planning to try out a couple of new recipes 😋

Finally managed to arrange a babysitter, so we’re going out on a date night tomorrow!
I’m really looking forward to spending some quality time with my partner.

Enjoy!

I’ve been trying to organise a date night with my wife but finding a sitter for six kids is tricky.

Check out some exhibitions and pick up my new phone.

MxRemy,

Hang out with my boyfriends, grt drunk, maybe do some gardening if the weather is nice!

sgibson5150,

MxRemy,

Yeah, there was a buy-one-get-one-free deal down at my local game store

sgibson5150,

Thankfully, not a lot going on this weekend. Getting my taxes done tomorrow afternoon, but that shouldn’t take long so I should have a lovely weekend of mostly doing nothing of significance to anyone.

My son has his 19th birthday. Going to be in the kitchen all day tommorrow. Big dinner with grilled ribs, chicken, spaakham, fresh made paratha and chapati flatbreads, Lebanese rice and vegetables. Looking forward to it. Then it is like thegiddystitcher time for Eurovision, as my son mentioned today he is interested. I guess his friends are into it as well.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Tomorrow is the last of the Eurovision national selections so we’ll be engrossed in that! Then currently undecided about whether to go the cinema on Sunday or not, we’re out next weekend for a thing and leaving the house two weekends in a row would maybe be a bit much…

Some family will be in town. So, probably spending some time with them. But also hoping to do some cleaning around the house.

Being an adult/parent is fun.
