First panel of the kitchen backsplash. The scenes are the views out our windows depicting the seasons and recent history of the land around us. This is early spring and the first of the farmers is clearing and working the land. The church was built in 1875 and is now our home.

The other way you can tell this is a Spring scene, is the early appearance of wall outlets, which bloom before the crocuses, and were often gathered and sold at market.

Truth be known, there have been times in the past when my wife and I have seen an old church up for sale. We always look at each other and say, "wouldn't it be neat if..."
So you are on notice that we are now living vicariously through you.
