I am thinking of going into the carbon credits business: Instead of me flying to Paris, which could happen if you refuse to pay, you can pay me $360 to not fly to Paris and thus avoid 3.6 tons of CO2 emissions. If you pay me $1700 I will not fly first class, and thus avoid 17.7 tons of CO2 emissions, which is a better deal for you.
@lobsterofrevenge i was just about to light this giant mound of tires on fire, but for only my kid's first year of college tuition (and room and board), i could be persuaded not to. it's not extortion, it's environmentalism!
