Both the US and EU are deeply concerned about heavily subsidized Chinese OEMs.

@arstechnica I don't know about US, but in EU we're more worried about apocalyptic climate change that is accelerated by people continuing to burn stuff (including, but not limited to, in internal combustion engine cars) than a few car manufacturers having a hard time because they doggedly stuck to designing and making more shitty petrol, diesel & hybrid cars.

The reason why we would love to see more accounts talk about composting on the is simple.

You will be able to focus on your area and explain to local people what they can compost and where they can get their organic matter.

You can create a local community that will help your local area make a better place.

If we started this account it is for a main reason. Make people understand that by choosing to compost they can have a positive impact and do something about the .

So creating a multitude of local accounts that will allow people to organize and make their area a better place is a very powerful thing to do for the .

Federal budgets are often centered on discussions of "inflation," the "economy," and "economic growth," but amidst these conversations, the deeper truth about our reliance on #nature often gets sidelined. Economists argue that without valuing the #environment, human activity on earth is unsustainable. While concepts like " #ecosystem services" have gained traction, they still fall short of acknowledging humans as part of a larger system that sustains all life. With climate change and #biodiversity loss worsening, a radical shift in #humanity 's relationship with ecosystems is needed. As we await the budget speech, it's crucial to remember the reality of climate change and its implications for our planet's future. #ClimateChange #EnvironmentalAwareness #BudgetPriorities #auspol

In the 1880s, the mark of consumption among elites was replacing gaslights for electric ones. Today it is the replacement of electric ones for useless decorative gas lights that constantly burn. We see these in many wealthy neighborhoods in Chicago.

I really don't know about the mechanics of this system. Nor do I know anything about the people. Just always find such fixtures strange.
