@bekopharm can you share more info? Radeon or GeForce? X11 or Wayland? I am guessing it worked smooth 60 fps for you or it didn’t but you didn’t care? If it was smooth, which Steam launch options did you use? If not from Steam then how did you launch it?

Note: I got it working properly in the end, but via Gamescope.

@darth Amdgpu, Wayland, 60hz must be forced (bug in FO), launched via Lutris. Smooth with HD pack installed.
NOT on next gen update yet that just dropped (waiting for the mod breakage fog to clear)

I've to check on the details later. not at my PC rn

@s31bz I tried running Fallout with Gamescope from within Steam from within X11 desktop session and I observed 3 things:

• I got some input lag
• I got some screen tearing

• stutter was gone

Then I ran Steam from dedicated Gamescope session from tty2 and I observed the following with Fallout 4:

• everything ran perfect, just like on SteamDeck
