#Fallout4 is like… "Okay I know I am missing my kidnapped son, my spouse was brutally murdered by unknown individuals, and I'm hundreds of years out of place, but my absolute Number One priority is going to be rescuing this cat who just ran away"
Really I think my final analysis on #Fallout4 is something like "this game contains a third from four separate games, each of those games is inherently enjoyable on its own, but they don't actually work together particularly well and each part often end up getting in the way of the other parts"
My "Almost vanilla" run of #Fallout4 is becoming less and less vanilla.
Added three more "must have" mods this morning: One to auto-skip 30 minutes of utterly abhorring puzzle gaming (I am not a puzzle person) and two to stop vertibirds (think helicopters) from exploding mid air because someone shot at it with a spitball and straw.
I find myself selling several great legendary drops because they would make the game too easy or simply look stupid. A plasma thrower that freezes people? Nah. Too dumb, off to the trader you go.
Would be fun to know how many people outside of the US even knew the Minutemen was a historical group. I never learned about them. I knew about them only because of being married to an American woman.
Okay... I love the Railroad, I am one of the few who always side with them, but i think they are taking the term "dead drop" too literally when they put one in the middle of a supermutant village.
I must say that although I have had far, far less problems than a lot of players the new update for #Fallout4 has made the game start crashing to desktop roughly once an hour just like in it's first two years.
I am... worried that Bethesda might not want to restart all patching they have done for the years after 2015...
I'm supposed to get the Deliverer handgun but I've been using an explosive powerful pipe pistol for basically the last 20 levels and I don't see myself stopping any time soon. It was a rifle for ages but I swapped stock out and it's damage shot up as I've got 2 ranks of Gunslinger. #Fallout4
Also Aquaboy is so overpowered. You don't take rads from swimming AND you can breathe underwater? I don't think I've ever taken it before but I'm going to take it every time now. #Fallout4
Not being able to fast travel is interesting. It makes the game a lot frickin' longer because you have to walk everywhere but on the flip side you see a lot more of the map. That said, it's still a ballache to get from diamond city or bunker hill back up to Sanctuary. #Fallout4#Survival
I finally rescued Preston et al as I wanted to send them to Hangman's Alley, which is more centrally located, with all my scrap from Sanctuary and Red Rocket but I need to unlock him as a companion first. #Fallout4#Survival
Man, fuck this game. I did a quick no sleep save at a random sleeping bag, which just happened to be right next to a frag mine, I didn't see, so when I came out of the sleep dialogue, I exploded almost immediately. The game saved though so when I loaded back in I just explode again #lolsob. Fortunately I have learned to save every time I can so my last save point was only a few minutes prior. #Fallout4
Have I just been playing this game too much? Because I did one of the first boss fights this morning and I had basically just to sneeze at him and he died. I remember having to reload 3-4 times at least.
As a reaction to enjoying the Fallout show I made the inadvisable decision to reinstall #fallout4. I've played that game so much the corners are all rounded off so to spice it up I've decided to play on survival difficulty without ever spending a level-up.
I'm at level 12 and I'm discovering that this might just be impossible. Nothing other than the level up are off the table, so I may have to start cheesing the economy to just buy some legendary gear. Otherwise I think this playthrough is sunk.
One of the things that's always irritated me about #Fallout4 is how hit and miss the settlement building is. Or rather scrapping. Why are these 6 trees so important? Why can I scrap every kitchen in the Sanctuary, except for the one in my old house?
Okay this is the game I wanted. It's tough and the main reason I'm dying is stupid mistakes. It's a bit irritating that the enemy spawns & their loot changes each time I respawn but it keeps it interesting. #Fallout4
I've been trying to take the FMS Northern Star for the agility bobblehead but I've just realised, I've already got AGI 9 so I don't really need it right now. #Fallout4
I absolutely love it when #Fallout4 just stops letting you pick up items, open containers, loot bodies or do absolutely anything that requires an interaction. It really rustles my jimmies.
