@markmccaughrean once it was a cool place, with a fancy bar, water cascading behind the drinks. Now German beer made it dull and boring. Probably exactly what tourists deserve.
@knud Nope, just here for one night to pick up keys & do paperwork, back to NL tonight. Should be back by the end of the month though & am going to need some help figuring out how on earth anyone cycles (properly) around here 😱
@knud And at the risk of sounding stupid, err, which festivities? We didn’t even realise yesterday was a public holiday until we’d almost reached HD & were surprised how little lorry traffic there was on the autobahn. Made the drive positively relaxing … if still rather hot.
