Valley of the Gods, UT

This is from my very first visit to this amazing place. I was in such awe I only managed to take a couple photos. I've since been back many, many times and have many, many wonderful photos (some of which I've already shared here and more to come, I'm sure.)

@bosquebill

I drove through that whole area in the early 2000s(?). Just otherworldly.

There was one point where we were out that way, getting close to the middle of nowhere, when I saw someone on a bike. We were amazed, but even more so when they turned off the main road and started down a dirt road.

@bosquebill Nice photo! Yup, me too, been there many times. I love doing a loop hike around those spires on the left and right. I know exactly the spot from where you made this photo! I was camping over to the left of this photo just a week or so ago. It's a mini Monument Valley and without the crowds.

@elaterite Thanks! The secret is out, however, and the prime campsites fill early during the pleasant times of year. Still, there are wonderful views all over.

@bosquebill Ya, there were quite a few people there a couple of weeks ago. Actually, lots of people all over the Cedar Mesa area. :/
