Electronic warfare systems neutralized two drones in the Nizhny Novgorod region
Two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were neutralized using electronic warfare (EW) in the Nizhny Novgorod region, TASS reports, citing sources in operational services. According to the agency's interlocutor, the drones belonged to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and were trying to reach Nizhny Novgorod at extremely low altitudes. The Russian Ministry of Defense did not comment on this information.
Both aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were neutralized by electronic warfare in the Kstovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region. <...> The warhead of the aircraft, containing the explosive device, did not go off when it hit the ground ,” the source said .
He also added that, according to available information, no one was injured as a result of the incident. There was also no damage to the infrastructure.
Earlier it became known that a resident of the Belgorod region was injured as a result of an attack from Ukraine . Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that the village of Mokraya Orlovka came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A local resident received cuts from glass on her hands and face, but did not require hospitalization. In addition, in two private households, facades and fences were cut, windows were broken, and the gas supply line was damaged.
