Pantherina, Uhm, qBittorrent? Tried others but they simply have less features.
merthyr1831, Only downside to Qb (which i still use despite this) is that the web interface is completely inaccessible from a mobile phone. Makes remotely managing torrents when I don’t have my laptop handy a real pain.
Pantherina, There is an app exactly for that. Called qbittorrent remote or something, on FDroid
merthyr1831, brilliant!! thank you
jivandabeast, Qbit or ru/rtorrent for me
SpaceCadet, I use deluge mainly because it can easily be run as a daemon inside of a docker container, so I can just let my torrents run unattended on my homeserver, and always protected by a VPN with killswitch.
On my desktop I use the GUI client to connect to the daemon and manage my torrents as if it were local.
state_electrician, You can do the same with qBittorrent, by the way.
SpaceCadet, Yeah, I evaluated both when I chose this solution several years ago. Don’t ask me why I chose one over the other though, I don’t remember.
Eavolution, I've only used Deluge on Windicks but I have to say ktorrent was good while I used it on Arch with KDE.
NathanUp, I love ktorrent
ipsirc, rtorrent
tho, aria2 ftw
noddy, Wait frostwire still exists? I remember using it to download mp3’s back when I still used Windows XP. These days I use transmission for torrents. But only rarely to download a linux ISO.
atlasraven31, No, Kazaa? 😓

myersguy, I… Don’t get the joke. Deluge is solid and on the list.

fhein, I think it’s the “…Yes sorry, I will show myself out.” that makes it sound like you were trying to make a joke
myersguy, This is it, yeah
myersguy, …What?
“I’ll see (will show) myself out” is a pretty common thing to say after a joke. If it isn’t a joke, I just don’t understand the first line of your comment.
There’s nothing “wrong” with me, I’m not being in any way “pissy”, and I don’t have an issue. I just didn’t know what you were trying to convey.
Ihnivid, The lack of emoticons in your comment clearly shows that you’re in fact furious.
myersguy, 👈😎👈 Zoop!
YodaDaCoda, Sok dude I get the joke you were making. You use Arch 👍

(and deluge is amazing, been rock solid for me for about 13 years)

YodaDaCoda, yay is the package manager thingy for arch right?
Sorry didn’t mean any offence that’s a gender-neutral term in my mind
SaltyIceteaMaker, Transmission-cli 🔛🔝
Mubelotix, If only it also offered i2p and webtorrent support
SaltyIceteaMaker, If with webtorrent you mean pasting a link and it downloads directly then the qt gui version has that i think (idk about the gtk or cli versions)
Mubelotix, No, I mean seeding for users on the web by using the WebRTC protocol. I want to seed to as many platforms as I can
GustavoM, rtorrent > all
Zabuxx, Exactly
1984, I’m using Transmission, only 5 on the list. Must do better. :p
