Going way, way back to the earliest days of folks having ways to listen to audio files on the Internet, I used to do various "audio reports" for periods on and off over the years. These would probably be called podcasts today. I eventually stopped, since they seemed to be more effort than they were worth for the relatively tiny number of people who bothered listening to them.

But technology has changed of course, and posting short audio reports here on may be more or less practical. Worth the effort though? I dunno. What do you think?

@lauren I'd be more likely to listen if it were available as a podcast via RSS than if audio fragments were posted to Mastodon piecemeal.
