There are some things I miss. This one occurred to me as I listen to my playlist.
I miss putting a record on the player, lifting the needle, and gently resting it on the spinning vinyl. For a few seconds, the speakers reflect that familiar crackling sound, then the music begins.
For some reason, I miss that. Digital is great, but the ritual of putting a record on the player and hearing that 'crackle' made the experience more personal and less 'remote'. #music#vinyl
