It's Alive is the first live album by the American punk band the Ramones. It was recorded at the Rainbow Theatre, London, on December 31, 1977 and January 01, 1978, and released in April 1979

In 1990, as a teenager, I borrowed an audio cassette with a copied recording of that album from a friend. Although the recording was so bad that the pitch of the recording was constantly oscillating, I listened to the tape on and off.

Later, I had the money to buy the CD. But without the oscillation, the album only sounded half as good.

Now I no longer own that cassette and would love to hear what got me so carried away back then.

Maybe that’s too.
