The Fediverse existed before and doesn't give one shit about influencers joining. AGAIN, I feel the need to say that smart content providers post everywhere and don't bad mouth any buttered bread platforms. Just dumb.
@Hey_Beth@seachanger And a good number on Spoutible, as close to an echo chamber in design as possible. Some of the Biggest promoters on that platform are still on Twitter everyday posting way more than on Spoutible. This place is far from perfect but they aren't collectively trying to reinvent the wheel using the same old tools. Everyone is pushing the technology with societal impact considerations. It is a round table and is stopping to pay itself on the back for a job well done.
@Hey_Beth@seachanger I believe in the flip side of this 45(yeah I did). From what I now have experienced for 6 months I believe most will remain on twitter as their primary social media account and it will become worse than truth social but they will not care.
@noondlyt@Hey_Beth yeah it is really a pretty thin slice of lefty twitteratzi on blooski so far, a lot depends on if Jack’s kids are able to scale and federate in real time. They appear to be working extremely hard, but I guess I don’t understand why more of his billions aren’t being deployed to staff them out. Who knows what’s going on being the scenes over there
