A blog post discussing the new #computer, highlighting a few learnings, a few mistakes I made, and just generally being excited about the machine. #buildapc
@trick I used an MS Ergo Pro for many years, then I tried out a vanilla mechanical keyboard and enjoyed it but wanted a more ergonomic layout.
After a few keyboards in the middle I'm now on a bespoke split column stagger 40% with box navy switches at home and something with maximum tactility but no click in the office. (although I've had box navies in a keyboard in an office and had them be quieter that a colleagues cheap dell rubber dome, typing style and case material does a lot for sound: thick acrylic and very little free space in a case can make it quiet)
A nice (how ever you define it, not being a snob about it) keyboard makes typing such a joy.
