I should start selling "read the room" services where--for a reasonable fee--I read the room on behalf of FOSS men with divorced energy, and politely inform them the ways in which their planned input into a discussion would be annoying, unhelpful, unwelcome, etc. Think I could survive on that if I can find myself a couple of German software developers to put me on retainer.
