When I mentioned to my family I'd like to get a set of ham radio headphones, the reply back was - GET ANYTHING YOU WANT
@ve3qbz 😂 I can still hear my parents hollering to shut it off. My Dad would holler, "Answer the door". And when I didn't , he would jump up thinking someone was ringing our doorbell. I laughed but he didn't seem to think it was funny.
@KC8JC@N4JAW Agreed, that was a great post and so much fun to follow along on your memory journey... I suppose there may be hope for me finally picking up CW, if I can somehow keep from being constantly distracted by other projects and learning other things! (I'm sure my ADHD/ADD/whatever has zero influence here, lol!)
