i don't know the circumstances here, but when i see stuff like this i wonder if spending tons of time finding the perfectly-qualified person for a job means that when you actually find one, whoops, they are also perfectly qualified for lots of other jobs??? (1/2)
i'm just speaking as someone who will soon be looking for jobs like this and holy cow, according to the job postings, you better either have a friend inside or be God Themself to even get through the algorithmic filter.
it's jarring on one hand seeing tons of people out there saying they can't get a job, and then on the other hand seeing employers complain that it's impossible to find anyone. something is broken.
