Lotta space up here in the Manitoba Interlake, and the water is still mostly good. Assuming I live the optimistic lifespan, I expect to be one of the welcoming ones when caravans arrive, and definitely in conflict with a legion of nimby scumbags.
But some of us are gonna be ready to receive yall, whether it's fascism or mother earth herself who displaces you.

Won't lie, reading The Lost Cause by @pluralistic reshaped my ideas about the future, where I am, and created the conditions for me doing that toot. It's not exactly an optimistic novel, but it is fecund with mindbombs of the constructive kind and I'm harassing everyone I know to read it now. :>

So, unless you're prepared to jump through ever-higher MAGA loyalty tests, the time to resist is now. Everyone else is a target
