Taking my car in for its annual state inspection today, it’s new enough that it should be fine but old enough that the dealership is going to “recommend” a couple grand worth of sketchy-sounding maintenance bullshit, so thoughts and prayers
Yay new rear brakes. 😮💨 They weren’t quite bad enough to fail the inspection but they were close. That’s cool I didn’t need to ever have any money.
I did get to kill time in the waiting room playing Pokémon Emerald, though. Just like old times! Because I’m old enough that Pokémon Emerald was firmly in my 20s.
@trixter Guilty confession: When I moved from VA to WA I drove around for years with my expired inspection sticker thrilling that no one was going to pull me over for it. What a shake down that is.
