STUDY finds that older individuals can greatly reduce risk by getting BOTH influenza and vaccines. "Those vaccinated with neither COVID-19 nor influenza vaccine had higher risk of long COVID (OR, 1.72; 95% CI, 1.26-2.35) compared to those vaccinated with both vaccines." (That means a 72% higher risk.)

@augieray At one point they talk about "concurrent" and then later about not being able to tell precise timing, so I'm having trouble telling whether this is about simultaneous vaxes (the same day/time) or simply having both in that season (say, a few weeks apart). Being immunocomp I always leave a couple weeks between to get a fuller response, but that might no longer be best strategy?

@antonymble All they did was ask “yes” or “no” questions about COVID-19 and flu vaccination within the last 12 months. "Concurrent" only means they had both at the time of the study. Timing was not asked, as far as I can tell.
