@Susan60@timrichards The thing about this ongoing convo is that most cafes etc run on very slim profit margins. Rents are ridic, cost of ingredients too, but wages is the clincher. Are the staff being paid properly? All other things being equal, you have to wonder whether the cheaper joints (eg Asian restaurants) are paying staff properly. Just something to bear in mind.
