Planet of the Apes is real awesome SF stuff. I love the original novel of Pierre Boulle. I had read this novel in original French and the first filming of 1967 is a milestone in science fiction history.
@PuschyMTB Yeah i have the original films on bluray. And thought the prequel reboot trilogy was great, especially Ceasar and Andy Serkis. I had forgotten they were gonna make a sequel. I wonder if one day they tell the original story in this series
The combination with Ceasar and Perkins... damn cool shit.
I also know the TV series and the animatic series. I had watched the animatic in the 80ies. I was 10 years old and i did not have understand english, but it was cool.
The images show the german BD covers, but i don't like the interpretation of Tim Burton (above right corner) . Too much Hollywood shit without deepness.
