I used to not like his books Mercenary that much either, because of the somewhat wooden characters, the lack of dynamics. But recently have started appreciating the books more because of the great landscapes and atmosphere, and some great storylines.
What is it you don’t appreciate? And is that based on book covers, or have you had the chance to read the mercenary comics?
