@fkamiah17 what we really want is for bookshelves to count as ecologically sound interior wall insulation upgrades. Then you’d get paid to stuff rooms full of books literally from floor to ceiling.
@BashStKid I approve this plan. There should also be provision of one of those excellent sets of steps with wheels when you reach a certain number of books. I love those things 😊
@Sbectol I'm always wary of re-reading for that very reason, particularly the ones I really love. I think there's a lot to be said for doing it with the classics though - I've been considering picking up Middlemarch but it's such a brick, and there are so many other shiny new ones on my shelves 😂
@fkamiah17 sign me up! My husband & I gave each other books for Christmas & we sat there looking at the piles of books we have crammed every where & we’re at a loss as th where to put them
@ljohn44 IKR? I had to get the power tools out and put up another shelf just before Christmas, and it's already full. I think a cull might be in the offing by the summer. There's something cosy about piles of books though, don't you think? It's an excuse for minimal dusting as well 🤣
