Accepting almost* everything in #webdev eventually falls but agreeing w/ @chriscoyier here.

@davidbisset I don't often disagree with @chriscoyier but I do here - I've already seen a lot less job openings/requests for React type things. Perhaps it'll never go away completely, but like other libraries, I think it'll be a minority case, even w/ WP Gutenberg
@davidbisset Also isn't FB usage plummeting? I know it's mostly just the olds using it now. It's lasted longer than others, but eventually everything dies in tech. @chriscoyier
@amber@chriscoyier Like I said, eventually everything falls. FB is so big it might take a long time even with lower usage... assuming it does nothing (and it won't) but even then I've heard it's usage has stabilized or even went up a little.
I say almost because this doesn't including heavily based in web standards. And someday big tech like FB and WP will be gone but (just like Twitter) the demise is predicted way sooner and not in the way most would see it.
