Serious question - why is lemmy.ml / world news anti-semtic? your mods just banned a shitload of people who were not virulently anti-Israel and definitely not in violation of any rules. Is this a lemmy.ml problem or a community one? @dessalines

You’re not addressing their point. You’re the one that equated being virulently anti-israel with being “antisemitic” in your initial comment.
And frankly taking a look at the modlogs the removals I see seem all perfectly justified (mostly the spreading of actual lies, such as bullshit about decapitated babies).
Hopefully the new mods will continue to be on board with “News from around the world” side bar mandate as opposed to imposing their vocal minority view of “news impacting the world”. There’d be way too much negativity otherwise, and way too hard keep my sanity in check.
