Truth be told, a long-anticipated CM Punk promo on RAW was such an underwhelming kiss-ass moment. Please compare it to what he did when he first joined AEW. It was also ass-kissing, but honestly, you could feel the passion.

His "I'm here to make money" ending was also underwhelming. Because, yeah, we know you are.

Watching Cody Rhodes and CM Punk back in WWE now feels like those two were middle-aged men with a looming crisis who went out, had an affair, and figured out their wives and children were what they wanted.

It's funny to see so many wrestling fans rewriting history to fit that false narrative, asking if CM Punk can exist in WWE. My guy, CM Punk thrived in WWE for no less than nine years. Gee, maybe AEW was the problem, not him. I realise tribal bootlickers may not want to believe that; they'd rather believe billionaire Tony Khan genuinely feared for his life.

Nothing happens in WWE without a script. So Seth Rollins, who worked his ass off under Vince McMahon, was surely working an angle when he addressed the arrival of CM Punk.

OK. The toxic guy is back. Hopefully @TripleH knows what he's doing.

This whole and mess is making me sad. On the other hand, was awesome! ❤️

I don't know why people would be advocates for CM Punks return to WWE. It'll be smooth sailing and then Seth or Roman will cut a promo that ends in a fist fight backstage. Not a good idea.

Apparently AEW show security were confiscating signs this weekend. In case you were wondering if the difference between and was getting smaller and smaller. It is. And faster and faster.

So CM Punk finally got let go from AEW. A year too late imo. I was excited when he first joined. But in the long term, along with TK taking away power of the EVPs, I really just fell out of love with AEW's product.

CM Punk was a cancer, and TK let the joshis pretty much disappear from TV. Shida's 2nd title reign was nothing more than a reason to not have Storm drop it to Saraya.

I doubt I go back to watching AEW considering I'm enjoying TJPW and Stardom instead, but with Punk gone, its a much better chance.
