Does anyone know how to add this Dashboard from the ESPAltherma page to Home Assistant? If not, has anyone other examples.

I programmed the ready for . A bit of a challenge, but the GitHub owner helped me. It is on the network and MQTT sees it in Home Assistant. All I am missing is the heat pump 😀. Progress at least.

I am hoping to start to play with my M5 Tough over the weekend. At least get it programmed. The cabling is a bit simpler than I thought. I need to find a way to weatherproof the cable, but I am not sure how to do that. The connection at the bottom is an M12. I have ordered some of these, but the cable needs to be something. Not sure what that would be called.

My m5Stack Tough and the parts I need to start my ESPAltherma project will arrive today. I will have to test it on Mum’s heat pump as mine is still in the planning permission stage.

I am starting to look at and the hardware required. The hardware doesn’t seem too much of a problem.

This looks very handy as it comes in a weather proof case

Or

The side should be ok, but I am very wary of how to make the cable. I have had some good advice in other forums. I am likely to try the M5Stick-Plus-2 option as I have had more advice on that one.

Of course still need a to use it 😀

I have a question

Is this what I need and I am confused by the two cable options listed on the site, 5 pins JST EH 2.5mm connector (or 4 Dupont wires M-F)

https://thepihut.com/products/m5stickc-plus2-esp32-mini-iot-development-kit

Can you get a 4 pin plug to 5 pin plug or do you buy a 4 pin plug with 4 separate wires for the Daikin end? Sorry if this is very basic question.

If anyone has any direct links to the correct parts, I would appreciate it. I am in the UK

Mum had her heat pump install completed day. It is looking. She is now totally gas free. Interested to see how it goes from here.

@ChrisWarwick I am not sure. Funnily enough Mum is not the Home Assistant type. There is an app for the system. SpeakToTheGeek on YouTube is going to cover his Home Assistant setup.

He said he used

I don’t know much about it, but will research more if I get a heat pump

@Stephencrown @stevewebster56 @kenbone I found this old post doing a search for ESPAltherma. Did you ever try it?
