I got a free install for my neighbour too, after complaining they cost him money for their repeated failure to install on repeated dates. (He told me yesterday he didn't know why LOL, he was using my phone to call them, and they called back to me, and I gave them an earful about the runaround and how poor their services had become. So, he got FREE install, I got $40 back, for drives to another town to call them

Installation is $70, they missed the first date, didn't know how on the second , four visits before hooking up, and had no phone, he used mine, so they called me to message him about another attempt. I SCREAMED on his behalf HE'S a painter who makes more than your installer. You booked him 4 days! For one install.
I still have no internet. #Eastlink has a recorded message, about an outage on South Shore (We're Eastern Shore) our power was restored 2 days ago, and our Fibre has not been. This leaves us travelling to another town to call and report that we're still not reconnected.
Not sure if this sends or not, we even had a momentary power outage today, high winds, heavy rain, no internet, can't play Heardle, nothing to watch on the telly.. 😁 but other than that, we're fine. Cranky & fine

We're still plenty windy, last night was the worst as wind shifted to the already damaged side from Fiona, no sign of trees down or damage, except my tiny lighthouse toppled after the wind shifted.

So I had to drive down the highway some distance, find cellular, and call #Eastlink.
