THIS is how you #electrify#transportation. And hopefully the project is tied in with the local power utility so drivers can just pay the local utility or locals could just pay their regular light bills instead of inflated rates from battery charge stations.
Batteries in EVs are a stop-gap measure at best. They are RIDICULOUSLY heavy and expensive. With this solution, vehicles could carry much smaller batteries, driving costs down.
More evidence that carbon offsets are a fantasy. Unless your carbon solution reduces or prevents emissions in the first place, it's not actually solving anything.
