It was a serious question. As someone who lived in a village for 23 years and saw the public bus service whittled away to virtually nothing - 4 busses a day to 2 (only because of school pupils) and a useless 'dial a bus' Sunday service, where you had to book individual places personally, even for groups. Total nonsense and therefore virtually unused.
I have used the 'dolmus' service in Turkey and wondered if a similar system would work in rural Scotland and elsewhere.
