Maya nose ornament made of human bone unearthed at Palenque Ruins

Archaeologists have discovered an intricately carved nose ornament crafted from human bone, during their excavations at the Maya city of Palenque in Mexico.

The archaeological site of Palenque is situated near the Usumacinta River in the Mexican state of Chiapas.

This is the Foro di Pompei at the Pompeii Archaeological Park (Parco Archeologico di Pompei). You can see the Centauro di Igor Mitoraj in the distance. The foro was ancient Pompeii's main piazza. I took this in 2022 while I was in Italy.
