Kareem Abdul-Jabbar notes that Megyn Kelly is singularly unable to learn from her past. It has been 10 years since she lit a firestorm by claiming Jesus was a white man — oblivious to the fact that he was a Middle Eastern Jewish man.
Now she's spreading equally ludicrous falsehoods about the Women's U.S. Soccer Team. Abdul-Jabbar sums Kelly up perfectly:
"Ten years have passed for Kelly, but not ten years’ worth of growth, insight, or adherence to facts. That’s not her brand. There’s no money in maturation."
There can be no growth or deepening or learning when there's no incentive for those things. And when shallow sells, where's the incentive for Megyn Kelly?
Oh look - a #BBC profile on #MeganRapinoe which doesn't mention all the critics it cites are on the right of the US political spectrum - like that arse #CarliLloyd, whose sour grapes and blossoming career as a #Fox gobshite has not gone unnoticed. Also, err, #MegynKelly and some prat from the #WashingtonExaminer
This is not good practice. Then again, #BBCNews is run by #Tories and gives my old chum #Farage lots of free PR.
