Mostly Chuan Zibai Sichuan white tea from White2Tea, but not enough for a full dose, so filled out with some assorted loose leaf white tea bottom of the bags blend.
Chuan Zibai, "purple varietal", Sichuan produced, Fujian-style white tea on a Saturday. White2Tea, of course. (I think the cat sits on the tea mat when I am not looking.)
Ho Yum Blind Tasting Club tea no 2 was also supposed to be a sun dried white, but the spring weather in Assam, India, didn't cooperate. To salvage the batch the producer baked it dry in ovens, ending up with something between white and green tea. Ho Yum calls it, "Off White". More information is available on their blog.
Looking for something else, I came across this misplaced sample of 2018 Shou Mei White tea from One River Tea. Still think it is a great white tea, (despite being slightly nibbled by the nefarious garage denizens).
The Bai Jian #whiteTea. It’s as good as its brother, the more famous Yue Guang Bai #tea. I have two types of the second one, so I am not sure that I will buy something extra, but it would be interesting for me to taste Bai Jian and Yue Guang Bai simultaneously.
The Indian white #tea, “Flowers of spring, white from Darjeeling”. This tea is as sweet as you would expect from Chinese #whiteTea. Maybe, its taste is even more playful and light-hearted. I would recommend this one to tea lovers. I wouldn’t add it to my regular collection, as I already have 3 types of white tea, and such a nuanced set would be too much for me.😅
